I haven’t been prioritizing sequels and they’re quickly adding up. I don’t know why I haven’t been picking them up, because I’ve been really excited for them. I think I keep getting distracted by new books to read. But I need to read what I own. So here are a few sequels that I need to finish.
Black Sun was one of my favorite books a couple of years back. Fevered Star was on my most anticipated list for the year. I finally have a copy, but I haven’t felt like picking it up. But I hope to get to it soon.
Cytonic is actually the third book in the Skyward series, but I’m going to include it. I’ve been so busy reading Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere that I forgot that I still haven’t read this.
Winter of the World
I made it halfway through Winter of the World and put it down. Now I don’t even remember why I did. But I love this series. I think it’s time to finish it. Plus, a switch to historical fiction will be a nice break from all of the fantasy that I’ve been reading.
The Bone Shard Emperor
For some reason, I felt like I should read The Bone Shard Emperor in the summer. I don’t know if it’s because it was set on an island or what. I’ve heard this one is even better than the first. I can’t wait to dive in. And I might have to find time to go read by the water for this one.
The Wise Man’s Fears
The Wise Man’s Fear is the newest edition to this list. I’m finishing The Name of the Wind right now and I knew I would want to dive into the next one pretty soon. I really, really love this series so far.
Words of Radiance
Lastly, we have Word of Radiance. Like I said in my June tbr, I thought I was going to take a break from this series, but I have to know what’s happening. I’m looking forward to returning to Roshar.
So those are a few of the sequels that I need to finish. What about you? Do you binge read series, or do you space them out?
