It’s Mischief Night that means Halloween is just a few hours away. It feels like spooky season is coming to an end way too soon, but I was sure to pack as much seasonal fun as I could into this October.
I spent the weekend carving pumpkins with friends, handing out candy at a local trunk or treat, and making crafts with my mother. This was the perfect way to spend the last weekend in October.
I also got a decent amount of reading done. I’m reading All Hallows right now and I’m completely loving it. It captures all of the Halloween vibes that I’m hoped for.
Tonight, a cold front is moving so I’m going to cook up a hearty Mischief Night Pasta from The Unofficial Hocus Pocus Cookbook to celebrate the change in weather. We’ll eat that as we watch the season finale of The Halloween Baking Championship on Food Network.
Lastly, we don’t have anything major planned for Halloween night. I’m going to dress up for work. I’ll post pics on my Instagram if you want to check them out. Then we’ll probably head to Chipotle after work. I’m not sure how that ended up being one of our traditions but it’s one of my favorites. Our closest Chipotle is about forty-five minutes away, so we get to see a lot of lights and activities on our way there.
Then I’ll probably end the night with a pumpkin spice latte and a late night read. Hopefully, I can finish All Hallows before the start of November.
So those are my Mischief Night and Halloween Night plans. Do you have anything spooky going on?
I’m glad you had fun this October! I kind of dropped the ball on events a bit, but grad school takes up so much time so I’ll give myself a pass until I graduate. I’ve been reading too! I’m currently reading The Haunted Forest Tour, and it’s a Halloween book, so I’ll be reading a Halloween book on Halloween. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll try to get some good pictures of my costume as well!
I hope you have the best time reading your spooky book for Halloween! And you definitely deserve a pass because grad school can be brutal. But I wish you the best on your program!
Thanks! I’m about a third of the way through and loving it. Having the time of my life. Appreciate the well wishes for grad school. I have turned in three projects in the past couple weeks. Only have the big projects for end of semester left, thank goodness!
I love the Gengar pumpkin!
