My Favorite Christmas Movies

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is watching Christmas movies with my husband. Seriously, it’s the best feeling to watch something heartwarming in the glow of the Christmas tree. Here are a few of our favorite Christmas movies.

The Polar Express

The Polar Express is absolutely my favorite Christmas movie. To me it captures all of the best parts of Christmas. It even has a Christmas ghost which is a bonus. It’s a magical story that takes me right back to being a kid. And I do I even have to mention the gorgeous artwork? It’s a stunning movie altogether.

A Year Without a Santa Claus

I think I can relate to A Year Without a Santa Claus because I grew up in, and still live in, the South. A white Christmas is a dream that I’ve only experienced once. And I can count the number of snow experiences on one hand. But seriously, I just love the nostalgia and wit of this movie. There’s just something about it.

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is another classic that I’m sure is on everyone’s list. Granted, the Reindeer in the very beginning are super mean to the poor baby. But Rudolph travels far and wide and discovers the Island of Misfit toys and several new friends along the way.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

I love the Grinch in general, but Jim Carrey’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas is absolutely the best. It’s funny and heartwarming at the same time. It’s the first movie that we watched this year and it just really put me into the Christmas spirit. But I’m also going to be sure to make some time to watch the classic version as well.

So those are a few of my favorites. What’s yours?
