It’s officially the first day of winter, which means it’s time to talk about some anticipated book releases. I don’t have a lot on this list but I’m super excited for most of them.
House of Flame and Shadow

I can’t wait for House of Flame and Shadow. Honestly, I had considered DNFING this series, but I decided to give House of Sky and Breath another try. Boy, I’m glad I did because that ending blew my mind. I need answers.

Bride

A love story between a vampire and a werewolf is not a new thing. I’ve read so many books surrounding that. But if done well I love them. So, I’m looking forward to giving Bride a try.

The Women

I usually avoid Kristin Hannah’s books because they rip my heart out. But I just don’t think I can pass up The Women. I love historical fiction, and especially historical fiction set during the Vietnam War. I’m hoping it has some of the vibes of Matterhorn, but we will see.

The Warm Hands of Ghosts

The title caught my attention, but honestly, the author is what drew me in. I loved The Bear and the Nightingale, and I hope to love The Warm Hands of Ghosts. Like The Women it follows a field nurse. But unlike The Women, it sounds like it’s going to have supernatural elements included and that sounds amazing.

That’s the books I’m looking forward to this winter. I can’t wait to sit down and snuggle up with these great reads. I’m trying not to buy to many books this coming year, but these are going to be a must read for me.
