Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post we went on vacation to The Smoky Mountains. We used to go there every year when I was growing up, so it’s a comfort destination for me. And one of my favorite stops to make in Pigeon Forge is the Book Warehouse. It’s the first bookstore I ever remember visiting. It helped to fuel this obsession. So, it’s kind of full circle to be writing a post about the place that helped spark this love of reading. I’m so excited to get to do this Book Warehouse Book Haul. Let’s dive in.
The Once and Future Witches

The Once and Future Witches has been on my interest list since the day that it released. I don’t know why it’s taken me this long to get my hands on it. But I found it here at a great price so I’m really glad that I waited.
Rosemary’s Baby

I read The Pram on the drive to the Smokies. I enjoyed it and I wanted to read the story that inspired Joe Hill. So, when I stumbled across it, I figured it was meant to be, I don’t know anything about this story, but I’ve been wanting to read more classic horror. I’m really looking forward to this one.
Assassin’s Apprentice

Honestly, I’m not super sure why I picked up Assassin’s Apprentice, but I did, hahaha. It’s always slightly caught my interest but not enough to pursue it. I know I’ll be back in a fantasy mood soon so this will be good to have on my shelf.
IT Earrings

I only bought three books and I’m proud of myself. But I had to get a pair of these adorable IT earrings. I just couldn’t pass them up.
Smoky Mountains Puzzle

I’ve been wanting to get back into puzzles and I figured this Smokey Mountains 100-piece puzzle would be a great place to start.
Banned Books Puzzle

And lastly, my husband bought me this Banned Books puzzle. I’ve seen it all over Instagram and I wanted to get my hands on it. I was so excited to finally see it in store. So, we had to get it.
That’s my full circle Book Warehouse haul. I can’t wait to visit again soon. That place just makes my soul happy. Oh, and if you ever visit don’t forget to go to the Moon Pie General store that’s connected and grab a sweet treat and an RC Cola.

Ooo, great book haul! I’m so glad you had a place like this near you on your vacay. I’ve actually been to the Smoky Mountains! It was probably 6 or 7 years ago, but it was so beautiful. I loved seeing the difference from the concrete jungle of KC.
Extra kudos for the RC Cola reference! If any of my friends ask me why that one’s my favorite I always make a show of giving them an imperious look and saying “Why, didn’t you know? It’s for royalty!” I grew up drinking that soda. 🙂
That’s so cool that you’ve been. It really is a gorgeous place. And yes. RC Cola is the best!
Yeah, I went with a close knit group of friends and we had so much fun! It’s crazy how nature is king in that state. It’s so pretty!
