Summer 2024 Bucket List

Summer up until this point has been a flop. My health has been all over the place and I haven’t had any motivation to do anything at all. But I’m starting to have more energy day by day as we’re adjusting some of my health issues. And now I want to make the most of what’s left of the summer. So, here’s my 2024 Summer Bucket List.

  • Buy a book on vacation: I mean honestly, I don’t go on vacation without buying at least one book. But in August we’re going to Florida and there is an indie bookstore at Venice Beach that I’m dying to visit.
  • Read at the beach: Right after I visit the bookstore, I want to go relax on the beach and read for a few minutes.
  • Read a summer romance: Romance is out of my genre comfort zone, but I’m really wanting to read a summery romance right now. Especially, if it’s the book that I chose to read on the beach.
  • Read anything by Stephen King: Stephen King is so nostalgic to me, and I associate him with summer. I’m reading Bag of Bones right now, so I hope to check this off my list soon. And it has been a great summer read.
  • Make homemade ice cream: It’s not summer with homemade ice cream.
  • Have a Blackstone taco night: I love cooking tacos on the Blackstone and I’m ready to have them again.
  • Refresh My Wardrobe: I’m pregnant. I don’t get much of an option with this one. I need all new summer basics.
  • Work on my writing project: This has been on my bucket list for the entire year, but I haven’t made a ton of progress. I’m hoping to knock out a decent chunk here soon though.

That’s my summer bucket list. What do you have planned this summer?

If you want to join me on this summer bucket list, feel free to print a copy. Just be sure to tag me so I can be part of the fun as well.

  1. Good Luck with ticking off your bucket list. I’m glad that your health issues are improving and hope that you enjoy your beach read on a Florida beach. That sounds idyllic.
