The Finally Fall Book Tag

It finally feels like fall here in Alabama. Actually, right at this moment it feels like winter. Nonetheless, let’s jump in to The Finally Fall Book Tag to celebrate.

I found this over at Pages and Tea so be sure to check their post out!

In fall, the air is crisp and clear: Name a book with a vivid setting.

The Century Trilogy has one of the most developed settings that I’ve experienced it a while. Granted the books are huge so that helps.

Nature is beautiful… but also dying: Name a book that is beautifully written, but also deals with a heavy topic like loss or grief.

The September House deals with grief in an interesting way. I won’t say how because I don’t want to spoil anything. Just trust me on it.

Fall is back to school season: Share a non-fiction book that taught you something new.

Dave Ramsey is intense, and I don’t agree with him about everything, but his principals in The Total Money Makeover just make sense.

In order to keep warm, it’s good to spend some time with the people we love: Name a fictional family/household/friend-group that you’d like to be a part of.

I would love to be a part of Bridge Four from Stormlight Archives, but without all of the war and scary things.

The colorful leaves are piling up on the ground: Show us a pile of fall-colored spines!

I don’t have a stack of fall colored spines, but the cover of The Reformatory feels like fall to me.

Fall is the perfect time for some storytelling by the fireside: Share a book wherein somebody is telling a story.

The Mist in the Mirror is a story within a story, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. You can find out why in my review.

The nights are getting darker: Share a dark, creepy read.

This is where I shine. My current fave is The Butcher’s Daughter.

The days are getting colder: Name a short, heartwarming read that could warm up somebody’s cold and rainy day.

The Cryptid Club is such a fun read. It’s not necessarily heartwarming, but I think it would do the job.

Fall returns every year: Name an old favorite that you’d like to return to soon.

I’m itching to return to a favorite genre. I think it’s time to pick up a fantasy novel. I’m just not sure which one.

Fall is the perfect time for cozy reading nights: Share your favorite cozy reading “accessories”!

I will always be a blanket lover. It’s a must have cozy reading accessory

Spread the autumn appreciation and tag some people!
