Alabama is hunkering down for a hurricane. We’re in northeast Alabama so we’re mostly going to get wind and rain, I hope. That being said, after work I plan to go home and stay there until it’s over. So, that will leave plenty of time to catch up on some Halloween movies. Here’s my Halloween Movie to watch list. These are movies I haven’t watched in years, and I think it’s time to give them a rewatch.
The Haunted Mansion
I don’t know why I’ve forgot about The Haunted Mansion. I used to love watching this on Disney Channel. And I know a newer version has been released but I want to watch the Eddie Murphy version. It’s nostalgic. If I have time, I might watch the newer one too though.
Halloween
This is a Halloween classic for obvious reasons, and I haven’t watched it in literal years. I feel like I can’t claim to be a Halloween fanatic if I don’t watch it this year. Seriously, I was a teenager the last time I watched this so I can’t wait to see how my thoughts have changed.
It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown
Lastly, I want to watch It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. I used to watch this every Halloween with my dad. The year he passed away I stopped. But now I want to watch it with my daughter. I want to carry that tradition on with her.
So that’s my Halloween Movie to watch list. I also have to watch The Nightmare Before Christmas and Hocus Pocus before the seasons up. It’s just not Halloween without them. And I’d love to know your favorite Halloween movies too so leave them in the comments.

We are hunkered down in Northwest Alabama. Stay safe.
We’re ok on our end. No wind damage or anything. What about you?
We came through without any damage, just a nice gentle rain all day.
