If you saw my April Showers bullet journal theme I’m sure you guessed my May theme. If you didn’t see it, check it out here. I created a fun dutch door to lead into my May Flowers theme. I’m super happy with the way that turned out, but the rest of this theme is a hot mess. I don’t know what happened. I just made all sorts of mistakes, but that’s ok. I’m learning a new skill so of course mistakes are going to happen. Anyhow let’s get into this beautiful mess.
🌻April showers bring May flowers. 🌻
TBR

So normally, you know, April showers bring May flowers. But in Alabama April showers bring more May showers. Seriously, it’s rained a lot recently, so I decided to create my own bright flowers. Nothing fancy, but I liked the idea of creating a border on the edge of the page. I used my normal watercolors but I had problems with it running more than usual. Which is why my tulip looks the way it does. I tried to make some good out of a bad situation. I used my Tombow dual ended brush pens to do my lettering.
Reviews/Books Bought

I’d like to say this one turned out better, but I definitely had some smudging on my Reviews/Books Bought page as well. But overall, I’m happy with my daisies and lavender.
Books Read/Wrap Up

And last but not least, I had to include some roses. And more smudges. Seriously, I don’t know what went wrong this month. But I’m pretty happy with my May Flowers theme. It’s bright an cheerful and that was exactly what I wanted.
So now tell me, what’s your favorite flower?
So cute!
LOVE this!
Thanks! 🥰
