We went Rome this weekend to try a new restaurant called Blossom Hill BBQ. Totally worth it by the way. They made homemade oatmeal cream pies that were to die for. Anyhow, since we were close to two great bookstores, I had to do some shopping. Let’s get into my Rome, GA Book Haul.
Edge of Eternity

We visited Dogwood Books in downtown Rome. I like to visit every chance we get. I’ve never left without a book and this time was no exception. I found this hard cover copy of Edge of Eternity that I had to have. Plus, the price was great. I think it was $12 including tax. You just can’t beat a local used bookstore. Now I just have to get back into this series.
The Shadow of the Gods

After we left Dogwood Books, we went to Barnes and Noble. I was hunting a copy of The Hero of Ages, but neither place had it. So instead I decided to pick up The Shadow of the Gods. I don’t know why I thought starting a new series would be a good idea, but it was one of my most anticipated books. Plus, I’ve heard it’s amazing. And it’s beautiful.
Elantris

Lastly, I picked up this copy of Elantris. I plan on picking it up right after I finish the Mistborn Trilogy. I’m really excited to dive deeper into the Cosmere.
So that wraps up my Rome, GA Book Haul. I didn’t find what I was looking for, but I still found some awesome books.
