The Fall Bucket List Book Tag

There was a crisp, cool breeze in the air this morning that reminded me fall is right around the corner. So I decided it would be a perfect day for an autumnal book tag. I found The Fall Bucket List Book Tag on readbytiffany.com and it felt perfect for today. So let’s get to it!

Light a Scented Candle: A book that is lighthearted

Pumpkinheads|Rainbow Rowell

I’ve not read a lot of lighthearted books recently, so I’m going way back for this one. Do you guys remember Pumpkinheads? It’s so lighthearted and sweet. Plus, it’s so autumnal. You’ll be dying to go to a pumpkin patch when you finish.

drink pumpkin spiced lattes: a book that has a lot of hype

The Midnight Library|Matt Haig

I have seen The Midnight Library everywhere. I’ve heard a ton of great reviews for it also. For some reason it never caught my attention, but after reading the synopsis just now it sounds really good. Have you guys read it? What did you think? Is it worth the hype?

go apple picking: A book that has fun friendships

Skyward|Brandon Sanderson

I’m using Skyward as an example because I love M-bot, Doomslug, Spensa, and Rig. But really any Brandon Sanderson book will do. He writes great friendships. The friendships in the Mistborn series are awesome as well.

Wear a cozy sweater: a book that warms your heart

Travels with Charley|John Steinbeck

Travels with Charley is a total comfort read for me. There is something about traveling the United States in a camper with a dog that just sound amazing to me. It gives me wanderlust and makes me want to go explore. I absolutely love this one.

bake cinnamon rolls: a character who’s a talented chef

Final Girls|Riley Sager

Quincy from Final Girls came to mind first. She is a food blogger that bakes the most perfect cupcakes. I was hungry for a big chunk of this book because there were several baking scenes. And besides all the tasty baked goods this is an awesome thriller. I loved it.

jump into a pile of leaves: A Book that made you Jump for Joy

Empire of the Vampire|Jay Kristoff

I haven’t read this yet, but I’m jumping for joy because my copy comes in today. I ordered a signed special edition back in January from Waterstones. I’m so ready to get it. Also, expect a fun little unboxing later this week.

So that’s The Fall Bucket List Book Tag. If you want to play along I tag you!
