Halloween Candles

Fun fact about me. Outside of hoarding books I also hoard candles. I change what I’m burning out seasonally, but my favorite candles are for fall and Halloween. They really help enhance a cozy fall day, or a spooky October night. So let’s talk about a few of my favorites.

Fall Magic

This is the perfect fall candle. It’s sweet, but not too sweet with a blend of cinnamon, sugar, cedarwood, vetiver amber, and balsam patchouli. Another plus about this one is a dear friend makes them. So be sure to check out Karma Kandle Konnection. I love to shop local every chance I get.

Black Cauldron

I’m obsessed with Black Cauldron by Karma Kandle Konnection. It’s earthy and smoky. It smells like the fall woods in the best way possible. It combines dark amber and guiacwood to create this lovely scent.

Wicked Apple

Wicked Apple from Bath and Body Works smells delicious. It has notes of “ghostly green apple, creepy caramel drizzle, and vicious vanilla bean.” It is such a sweet fragrance that fills the entire house quickly. It’s going to last forever because I can’t burn it long or it does get a bit too sweet.

Pumpkin Carving

It wouldn’t be Halloween without at least one pumpkin candle. Pumpkin Carving from Bath and Body works is interesting. It’s a more savory pumpkin candle than I’m used to, but it really works. It combines “fresh pumpkin, spiced pumpkin seeds, and brown sugar.”

Haunted Hayride

I don’t even know how to begin to explain Haunted Hayride. It’s such unique scent. It’s smoky and sweet. It makes me think of bonfires and Halloween candy. It’s a perfect Halloween scent. Top Notes: Charcoal Accord, Black Pepper, Orange Zest. Mid Notes: Rich Cypress, Fir Needles, Nutmeg, Blue Spruce. Base Notes: Vanilla, Smoked Amber, Patchouli, Black Musk, Guaiacwood.
