It’s time to do my November 2021 reading journal. And obviously, I’m not done with the witchy themes. It’s just what has been calling to me lately. So this month I did a book of shadows inspire bullet journal. I’ve been super busy, so I enlisted the help of Etsy. But it turned out so cute. I’m in love.
Cover PAge/TBR

So for my cover page I bought this coloring sheet from VibeGarden’s page. It really inspired this theme. I saw it and I thought what can I do with that. And here we are. I just colored it in with my Crayola Supertip markers. Nothing too special, but it got the job done. Then I cut it out and glued it in. I decided to use some of the excess paper to make the heading.
The next pages are from Witchy Juju on Etsy. There were so many options, but these are the ones that I thought fit this spread the best. I adore these. I can guarantee you’ll see more of these in the future. They were super cute on their own, but I wanted to do something to tie it all together. So I decided to use the same Finetec Metallic Watercolor paint that I used to do the November heading to trim the borders of my pages. Then I used my Supertips again to color in the other details.
Reviews/Books Bought

For my reviews page I picked out the one with the quill and ink to remind me that I need to write my reviews this month. I’ve been running behind on reviews due to my fathers declining health. I’m not able to focus or think as critically as I normally would, but I still need to get the reviews done. I’m hoping to get caught up this month.
My books bought page makes a very clear statement. I can’t buy anything this month. I have so many books that need to be read, and it’s ridiculous to keep buying more than I can consume. That works for some people, but it just gives me a little bit of anxiety lol.
Books Read/Wrap Up

Lastly, we have my books read and wrap up page. They’re simple and gorgeous. I wish you could tell how metallic this paint actually is. It’s stunning.
I’m so happy with the way my book of shadows spread turned out. It could possibly be my new favorite spread.
Good luck with the no book buying! I’m in the same boat. It’s tough!!
I almost caved this weekend but I stayed strong lol.
I’ve failed HORRIBLY this month ๐
The downside is you didnโt keep your goal. The upside is that you have new books. Thatโs not a terrible consequence. And itโs making me question my goal. ๐๐๐
