Happy Valentine’s Day! I decided to get into the Valentine’s Day spirit by doing a little book tag. This tag was created by Noelle Gallagher over on Youtube. Her video was so much fun. I highly suggest watching it. But anyhow, let’s get to The Cupid Book Tag.
What’s the perfect candy to eat while reading?
I’m going to have to agree with Noelle on this one. Sour Patch Kids are the best candy to eat while reading. But any sour gummy would work in a pinch.
What’s a song that reminds you of your favorite romance?
Devil’s Backbone reminds me of a lot of my favorite romances. I love a good romance with a morally grey character.
If you were to go on a perfect reading date, where would it be?
This one is easy for me. I would want to go to E. Shaver, Bookseller in Savannah, Georgia and buy a new read and a tea in the shop next door. Then we would go read for a couple of hours in Forsyth Park. Lastly, we would finish that date off by getting dessert at Lulu’s Chocolate Bar.
What’s the best friendship you’ve read in a book?
I really love the friendship between Manon and Aelin in Throne of Glass. They understand each other better than most people do.
Create the perfect bouquet for your favorite book or character.
I can’t choose a favorite book. I just can’t, so I’m going to go with the last book that really impressed me. And that’s Rebecca. The book mentioned all of these gorgeous rhododendron and azalea bushes on the Manderley estate, so that’s what I would put into the bouquet. I would add a little greenery to round it out.
What romance do you not necessarily need a whole sequel for, you just want to check in on them and make sure everything is going well?
I would love to check in on Rowan and Aelin. I really enjoyed the romance between them, but I don’t really want to change anything about the way the series ended.
What date in a book (or movie) do you wish you could go on yourself?
I would love to go to the cabin in the ACOTAR world. However, I do not want all the dangerous drama from the book. Just the cozy cabin date.
What is your favorite nickname from a romance?
I literally can’t think of one right now. I’m sure there’s one that I’m missing, but my mind is blank.
What are your most anticipated romances of 2022?
I’m interested to see the romance in House of Sky in Breath. But I’m not getting my hopes up for happy things. Sarah J Maas has a way of ruining the first romance that I root for, but one usually comes along that’s better.
So that wraps up The Cupid Book Tag. If you want to play, I tag you! I hope you guys have an awesome Valentine’s Day!

Oh, this tag is just so much fun! Guess I found my Valentines Day tag for next year XD~ Love reading your answers, and totally agree on ACOTAR, haven’t read all of it yet, but yeah, cosy date, no danger because really, every time things get cosy something is happening soon after. XD
Thanks for the kind words! I hope you love the rest of ACOTAR series! It’s one of my faves.
