I think I’m just going to stop doing spring related posts. We always end up with the worst weather when I do. I normally do my spring anticipated releases on the first day of spring, but that’s on Sunday. Since I already have a blog tour schedule for that day, and Saturday is going to be busy, I decided to do it today. So let’s talk about my spring 2022 anticipated book releases on this very wet, cold day.
The Atlas Six

Technically, Atlas Six isn’t a new release. It was originally self-published and the Tor decided to traditionally publish it. And I haven’t read it yet so it’s new to me. All I know is that it is fantasy and dark academia and I’m sold.
Release Date: March 1, 2022
Fevered Star

I can’t wait to get my hands on Fevered Star. I have been waiting on this one for a long time. Black Sun left off on a major cliff hanger and I need answers. I’m not going to talk much about this one because I don’t want to spoil Black Sun, but you need to read this series. It’s a fantasy based on Native American culture and it’s so, so good.
Release Date: April 19, 2022
Book of Night

Book of Night is an adult fantasy by Holly Black. I’ve liked her writing in the past, but I’m interested to see my thoughts on this since my taste is changing. It’s an urban fantasy full of danger and deception. I don’t usually lean toward urban fantasy, but I trust Holly Black’s writing enough to give it a try.
Release Date: May 3, 2022
So those are my spring 2022 most anticipated book releases. I have to say there wasn’t a lot that interested me this season, but I guess that’s a good thing since I’m trying to keep my tbr small. What are you looking forward to this spring?
