Y’all, it feels like fall this morning. All I want to do today is find a spot outside and read, but I’ve got to make it through the workday first. So, let’s do the Cozy Fall Book Tag to keep the fall feelings going.
I found this tag over on The Bookish Mutant. Don’t forget to check theirs out.
What book always reminds you of fall/autumn?
The Secret History. It’s set in a college town, and it has all of the autumn vibes that I long for. Seriously, if you haven’t read it, you’re missing out.
What is your favorite autumnal book cover?
I love the cover of Something Wicked This Way Comes. It’s stunning.
What is your favorite autumnal drink to read with?
The answer would normally be a pumpkin spice latte. But I had a horrible experience with coffee this week and I don’t think I’ll be drinking anymore for quite a while. Spiced apple cider would be my next pick.
Do you prefer to read early in the morning or late at night?
I’m not really a morning person, so I do the most reading late at night.
Halloween is coming! What’s your favorite spooky read?
My favorite spooky read right now is What Moves the Dead. I seriously can’t stop thinking about it. This story got under my skin.
What is the ultimate comfort read for you?
Cackle. It’s set in a witchy version of Stars Hollow. Plus, it has some creepy parts as well. I just love it. I’ll probably reread it this October.
What is your favorite fall reading snack?
Apple Cider Donuts. Hands down.
What is your favorite autumnal candle to burn whilst reading?
Right now, I’m still loving Haunted Hayride by Yankee Candle.
When you’re not reading, what’s your favorite fall activity?
Festivals! I love festivals. There’s just something about wandering around through rows and rows of vendors in the crisp fall air.
Check out my Yellow Daisy Art Festival post if you’re a festival lover too.
What’s on your fall reading list?
So that wraps up the Cozy Fall Book Tag. If you want to play along, I tag you!
