New Year Unhaul

It’s that time of year again where I take inventory of the books on my shelf. I don’t really like holding on to books that I didn’t enjoy. So let’s get to my new year unhaul.

The Eye of the World

So here’s the thing. I really enjoyed The Eye of the World, but I didn’t enjoy The Great Hunt. And I don’t think I’ll enjoy the rest of the series either. So I don’t really see the point in keeping it.

Dracul

Dracul was a whole lot of fun in the first half, but I didn’t love the ending. It wasn’t as scary as I was hoping it would be. I just don’t think this was lived up to the hype so I don’t care to keep it in my collection.

The Lighthouse Witches

The Lighthouse Witches seemed so slow. It took forever for anything to happen and then when it did nothing made sense. It just wasn’t for me.

The Haunting of Ashburn House

I remember enjoying The Haunting of Ashburn House but I don’t remember anything about it. So it’s time for it to go.

Red Rising

I didn’t like Red Rising. I kept book one thinking I would give book two a try but there are too many other good series out there to force myself to read something I might not enjoy.

So that’s my new year unhaul. I’ll probably add more to this list while I continue to reorganize my shelves.

If you’re interested in any of these I’ve added them to my PangoBooks shop so be sure to check them out.
