I’m super excited to be able to review the sequel to Witch of Warewoods. I would like to thank the author for a gifted copy in exchange for my honest review.
Synopsis
Sara Lochton broke the curse and released her magic to become High Witch of Ware Woods. But she is new to the magical world, and her inexperience puts the forest and everyone she loves—including her bonded mate, Thomas—at risk.
When tragedy strikes and her sworn enemy, Samson, warns of a formidable evil intent on destroying their entire magical region, Sara recklessly agrees to a blood bargain with him. But the pact is a tenuous truce for Sara. Determined to best Samson and defeat the evil, she conjures aid from powerful yet questionable allies—an arrogant vampire, an imposing wolf shifter, and an evasive witch.
As darkness descends upon Ware Woods, Sara must decide who she can trust and how far she will go to save those she loves. And face the fatal consequences.
My Thoughts on Death & Dragons
As a follow up to my review on Witch of Ware Woods, I still want to live in the Ware Woods. Minus all of the scary things that happen.
Death & Dragons was an amazing sequel Witch of the Ware Woods. I loved Sara’s found family and the cast of characters introduced in the sequel. The author’s characterization is exquisite.
But don’t let found family aspect fool you. This is a heartwarming story with equally high stakes. There is plenty of action and adventure throughout.
I still believe that the author shows the skill and technique of a seasoned author. I can’t wait to see her career continue to flourish.
My Rating: 4/5
Ooh, a new series to check out!
I hope you enjoy!
