John’s Creek Books and Gifts Book Haul

We went on vacation last weekend and I visited a fun indie bookstore called John’s Creek Books and Gifts in John’s Creek, Georgia. It was the cutest store with a good selection so of course, I picked up a few things.

Gideon the Ninth

Gideon the Ninth has been on my radar for a while and when I saw it on display, I knew it was time to grab it.

The Sanatorium

One of the things I liked about this store was the used section. I’ve wanted to read The Sanatorium, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. But since it was used and quite marked down, I decided to give it a try.

Library of the Dead

I also picked up The Library of the Dead. It was an impulse buy because it looked fun. I almost forgot to add this to the haul. I forgot it on my nightstand when I took pictures, so please enjoy this stock cover photo.

Barnes and Noble Book Haul

On our way home we made a pitstop at the Barnes and Noble is Marietta, Georgia to grab a copy of B. Dylan Hollis’s new cookbooks. This particular store had a great horror section, so I picked up some things from here too.

Black Mouth

It’s no secret that Black Mouth has been on my mind. I’ve really enjoyed exploring Ronald Malfi’s books. Black Mouth is one of his most popular, so I figured it was time to give it a go.

Hell House

I don’t know much about Hell House, but Stephen King said that it was the scariest haunted house story he’s ever read, and that’s enough for me.

Fourth Wing

I picked up Fourth Wing because I want to see what the hype’s about. After seeing so many good reviews I don’t want to miss out.

Baking Yesteryear

I loved B. Dylan Hollis and I’ve wanted his Baking Yesteryear since he announced it. I can’t wait to test out some of these recipes.

Lastly, I grabbed this adorable book sleeve. Barnes and Noble had a whole National Park section and this caught my attention. It’s very well made so I’m glad that I picked it up.
