Reading to a Healthier Me: March Check In

It’s once again time for my Reading to a Healthier Me March Check In. This is a series where I tell you my goals and what I plan to read, and you hold me accountable to that. Because if I’m being honest if I don’t have someone to hold me accountable, I just won’t do it. So, let’s get to it.

Eat Healthier. I’ve done a decent job at eating healthy this month. I’m also going to try to start transitioning to an anti-inflammatory diet in March. That’s going to be a bit of a learning curve but if it helps heal my body it’s worth it. I haven’t shared a lot about this, but I’ve been having some weird symptoms and chronic illness that does cause a lot of inflammation in my body. And if the food that I eat can help lessen those symptoms I’m going to try my best to stick to it.

Exercise at least 30 minutes a day. I didn’t exercise as much in February as I would have liked. But I was sick for a week and just fell off the wagon, but I’m making a good come back in March.

Relax more. Hahahahahaha. That’s all I’ll say about relaxing more. It just didn’t happen.

Drink More Water. Lastly, I’m adding a new goal. A new doctor/nutritionist that I’m seeing recommended that I drink 110 ounces of water a day. So far, the most I’ve been able to do is 80 ounces. But I’m getting there.

What I’m Reading

Right now, I’m reading Killing the Mob. Fun fact about me is that time period in history has always interested me. I saw this book on Libby and decided to give it a go. I’m not far enough in yet to know my thoughts, but I’ll let you know in my wrap up.
