I’ve loved non-fiction books lately and I’ve been looking to add some to my tbr. Here are a few that I’ve had my eye on.
The Mothman Prophecies

I have been obsessed with cryptids and folklore lately and Mothman really caught my attention. I would love to read The Mothman Prophecies to learn more about the local legend.
Killing the Witches: The Horror of Salem, Massachusetts

I really enjoy this series by Bill O’Reilly so I was super excited when Killing the Witches was released. He does a great job at diving deep into the history and providing a new perspective. I look forward to giving this a read.
The Demon of Unrest: A Saga of Hubris, Heartbreak, and Heroism at the Dawn of the Civil War

I’ve tried listening to a few of Erik Larson’s audiobooks, but I just didn’t connect with them. I’m hoping since The Demon of Unrest is about a topic I’ve been interested in my whole life that it will stick. I also think reading the physical book will help. I really want to like his work because he writes about interesting topics.
So those are a few of the non-fiction books that have caught my attention lately. I really look forward to reading them. If you’ve read any of them let me know your thoughts in the comments.
And if you need a refreshing summer drink to go with your latest read don’t forget to check out my last post.

I want to read The Mothman Prophecies too. There a horror author that got mention in the book. I listen to a podcast interviewing the author in how he got mention in the book.
