I’ve been in a slump and because of that I’ve bought a lot of books trying to mitigate that. So now I have a bunch of books that I have no interest in reading right now. Plus, we’re about to remodel and we’re having a baby so it’s time for a quick unhaul. And as always if you’re interested in any of these, I’ll be listing them on my Pangobooks shop.
The Warm Hands of Ghosts
I had high hopes for The Warm Hands of Ghosts, but I just couldn’t connect with it. It was probably because I was in a slump, but right now, I have no desire to try it again.
House of Flame and Shadow
This is another book that I picked up during my slump, but I’ve struggled with all of the books in this series. I even said I wouldn’t continue it after dnfing House of Sky and Breath. I ended up reading it and enjoyed it enough to buy this one. However, I have no desire to force myself through several hundred pages just to see if I will eventually connect with it.
So those are a couple of books that I’m dnfing. I’m hoping that starting with a fresh tbr will continue to help my reading slump. *fingers crossed*
