I wanted to take the day and celebrate the upcoming holiday and what a better way to celebrate than with a book tag. I couldn’t find one that fit exactly what I wanted so I created one. Bomb Pops are a quintessential Fourth of July treat that I absolutely love. So, to capture that nostalgia, here’s my Bomb Pop Book Tag. It’s short and sweet but hopefully it will be a lot of fun.
Cherry- A sweet classic.
I recently reread Sarah, Plain and Tall and I forgot how sweet it actually was. It deals with a few heavy topics, but it still managed to be filled with some heartfelt moments that left me smiling. I know it’s a children’s book, but I’d highly recommend giving it a read.
Lime- A book with a tangy/witty character.
I love Hoid’s wit in all of the Cosmere novels. I look forward to his appearance because of the mystery and humor that he brings.
Blue Raspberry- A book with a bright ending.
I don’t read many books with bright endings. And since I made this tag, you would think I would have made prompts that would be easy for me to answer, but nope. Matilda is the first book I could think of that had a bright ending. Everything worked out for her and Miss Honey. I need to reread that soon.
So that’s the Bomb Pop Book Tag. If you want to play along, I tag you. Just be sure to let me know because I’d love to see your answers.
