Have you made your Christmas list yet? I’ve been thinking about mine for a minute now because I haven’t had time to go shopping, so my list is getting a little long. But stick with me while I try to narrow it down.
Be Ready When the Luck Happens

I’ve always loved Ina Garten. I’m not normally one to sit down and physically read a memoir but I really want to give this one a read. I think Be Ready When the Luck Happens would be a great read for the time between Christmas and New Years. It sounds like it would be a really uplifting and positive read.
The Reformatory

The Reformatory has been on my tbr for quite a long time, but I’ve never picked it up. I just keep seeing great things about it and I really want to give it a read. I would be so excited to see this one under my Christmas tree.
Graveyard Shift

Graveyard Shift is new to my tbr but it sounds like such a vibe. I’m still stuck in spooky season and a modern Gothic about a ragtag group of friends set in a graveyard sounds like it’s made for me.
The Bog Wife

Let me just put this tagline in and you’ll see why I want The Bog Wife. “At once a gothic eco-horror, a psychological drama, and a family saga, The Bog Wife is a propulsive read for fans of Shirley Jackson, Karen Russell, and Matt Bell that speaks to what is knowable and unknowable within a family history and how to know when it is time to move forward.”
Evil In Me

Lastly, I would love to have a copy of Evil in Me. I’ve really enjoyed Brom’s other work, and this sounds so unique. And honestly, after reading the synopsis it makes me think of one of my favorite Danny Phantom episodes and the nostalgia in me makes me want to read it that much more.
And so those are the books on my Christmas list. What are you adding to yours? I’d love to hear it.

I only have Blood over Bright Haven as the other books that were on my list, I’ve bought for myself over the past couple of months. 😳 I hope that at least a couple of these arrive next week.
