I don’t have a lot planned for March, but I’m hoping the books I picked out are as exciting as I’ve heard they are. Let’s get to my March 2025 TBR.
Empire of Silence
Synopsis:

I have looked forward to Empire of Silence since I first heard about it. Now I’m finally picking it up and I hope the hype is real.
All Systems Red
Synopsis:
“As a heartless killing machine, I was a complete failure.”
In a corporate-dominated spacefaring future, planetary missions must be approved and supplied by the Company. Exploratory teams are accompanied by Company-supplied security androids, for their own safety.
But in a society where contracts are awarded to the lowest bidder, safety isn’t a primary concern.
On a distant planet, a team of scientists are conducting surface tests, shadowed by their Company-supplied ‘droid — a self-aware SecUnit that has hacked its own governor module, and refers to itself (though never out loud) as “Murderbot.” Scornful of humans, all it really wants is to be left alone long enough to figure out who it is.
But when a neighboring mission goes dark, it’s up to the scientists and their Murderbot to get to the truth.
All Systems Red is a bit out of my comfort zone like I mentioned in my Books that Intimidate Me post. But I am really excited to give it a try. It’s a short novella so I’m hoping I can squeeze it in before the end of the month.

I listened to the All Systems Red audio ((because Apple TV will have the show)) it’s a short novella and it was good for the setup. I know there’s a ton of those books in series.
Curious to hear your thoughts on Empire of Silence as I wanted to get into it this year as well!! 🙂
It’s too soon to say for sure but I think I’m going to really enjoy Empire of Silence. It’s hooked me so far.
