Happy Wednesday, beautiful bookish people. What are you getting up to today? I’ve got a few chores to do around the house and a hair appointment this afternoon. Right now, though, I’m taking a second to make my new favorite summer iced coffee (recipe below) and I’m going to read a chunk of Memorials by Richard Chizmar.
I’ve been in a bit of a negative slump lately. Two books that I was really expecting to love let me down. And the bad part is I was well over halfway through both of them before they disappointed me. So, I’m a little afraid to say I’m enjoying this one, hahaha. But seriously, I think it might be the perfect summer read. It’s giving Stephen King vibes but it’s unique enough to feel different. And right now, I’m really enjoying the camping in the Appalachian Mountain vibes. If I can’t camp in person right now at least I can do it vicariously through these characters.
Anyhow. I’m going to sit here and drink my coffee and read and then I will be a productive human. I’m probably going to work on clearing out some shelves so keep an eye out for my unhaul toward the end of the week. Hope you have an awesome day. Let me know what you’re reading in the comments.

I might try that iced coffee recipe. I am currently reading Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser stories and some manga.
