Another Book Unhaul

Hopefully, fingers crossed, Cj, baby, and I will get to go on a quick day trip after the Fourth of July. If we go to the city that we’ve discussed it just happens to have one of my favorite independent bookstores in it. Isn’t that a fun, totally not planned, coincidence (I say sarcastically)? Anyhow, if we go to that bookstore, I plan to stock my shelves full of books that I can’t wait to get my hands on. So I need to clear some room. Welcome to another book unhaul.

Howling Dark

I’ve decided I’m not going to pick this one back up. Or if I do it will be way in the future. There are just too many books that I would rather read.

Black Mouth

I know this is one of Ronald Malfi’s most popular books, but I’ve read the first few chapters, and I just can’t connect with the story. I’ve liked his other stuff in the past but Black Mouth just isn’t working for me.

Reckless Girls

I’ve had several copies of this for a book stand that I used to have in a local antique store. It was one of my bestsellers. I’ve kept one back all this time because I thought I would eventually read it. I haven’t. It’s time to go. It’s taking up space for other books that I’m more excited about.

The Maidens

I’ve read The Maidens. I enjoyed The Maidens. I have no memory or emotional attachment to this book at all.

Gallant

I feel the same about Gallant. Read it. Enjoyed it. Don’t remember it. But isn’t the cover so pretty?

The Adamtine Palace

I have no clue where this book came from. None whatsoever. The synopsis doesn’t interest me.

The Thousand Orcs

I must have blacked out in a used bookstore at some point because I don’t remember this one either. It’s on my tbr shelf but I have no interest in picking it up.

So that was another book unhaul. I always enjoy clearing out space on my shelf but honestly it doesn’t stay clear for very long, hahaha. Anyhow, I hope you guys have an awesome day and thanks for stopping in.
