The First Book Haul of 2026

Let me start off by saying that I am blessed with the best family and friends. They absolutely support my book hoarding addiction and I appreciate that, hahaha. These are technically the books I received as Christmas gifts, but life has just now slowed down enough to talk about them. So, let’s dive into the first book haul of 2026.

The Will of Many

My husband knows me so well. The Will of the Many was the book that I wanted the most off of my Christmas wish list. I’ve already started this one and I’m obsessed.

Dungeon Crawler Carl

He also got me Dungeon Crawler Carl. He’s reading it right now and I can’t wait to discuss it with him.

The Forgotten Home Apothecary

Then he surprised me with The Forgotten Home Apothecary, and I love it so much.

How to Survive Camping

Before there was Wildwood Reads I posted all of my reviews on Litsy. And honestly, it’s still one of my favorite bookish platforms. The community is the best, and I’ve made genuine friends on there. I also love to participate in the book swaps. I received How to Survive Camping in the Jolabokaflod Swap from my friend Sconchrane26.

When the Wolf Comes Home

I received When the Wolf Comes Home in my Winter Witch Swap from my friend BookwormAHN. She also gave my Dracula’s Child and a ton of other goodies. I’m looking forward to diving into this one when I need a break from fantasy.

Dracula’s Child

Lastly, I want to read Dracula’s Child now, but I also feel like it would be perfect for October. I’ve read a sample and it really gives me the same vibes as Dracula and I’m so excited for it,

So that’s it for my first book haul of 2026. Did you receive any fun books for Christmas? Let me know in the comments.
