With the first haul of 2026 comes the first unhaul of 2026. I want to be intentional about what I’m reading this year and having a cluttered shelf doesn’t help that. So here’s what I’m getting rid of.
The Wolf of Oren-Yaro
The Wolf of Oren-Yaro didn’t work for me. I just didn’t like the main character and her motives didn’t make sense to me. I don’t expect to revisit it.
The Way of Shadows
So, I enjoyed this book to start with and got bogged down in the middle. I’m going to pass on it for now.
The Grace of Kings
I’ve started this book three different times. It hasn’t stuck yet. I think it’s time to give up on it for now.
