We took a quick roadtrip to Chattanooga last weekend and I had to stop at McKay’s. Here’s what I got.
The Hobbit
I read The Hobbit years ago. However, I want to start The Lord of the Ring series, and I don’t remember a ton about The Hobbit. So, I’m going to give it a reread just to refresh myself on Middle Earth and all that comes with it.
The Two Towers and The Return of the King
I wanted this specific edition of The Lord of the Rings trilogy. I even looked at it at Barnes and Noble, but I couldn’t bring myself to pay $78 for it. Thankfully, I found these for over half off at McKay’s. Now they didn’t have a matching copy of The Fellowship of the Ring, so I bought it off of Pangobooks. Even including that I got this series for well under the retail price.
So that was my McKay’s haul. If you’re in the Chattanooga area I really suggest stopping by.
