Back in August I decided I needed a reset and a refresh. My life got busy and everything got off track. It was time to take a minute and be mindful about my habits. And since I need accountability, I told y’all about it. And for accountability’s sake it’s time for my reset and refresh check in.
Clean Up Diet
In August I wanted to do the inflammatory diet and the Glucose Goddess method. I stuck to that relatively well. I wouldn’t necessarily say that I’ve cut out all inflammatory foods, but I am eating more whole, unprocessed foods and that’s made a huge difference. I’m sticking to the Glucose Goddess method for the most part but I’m having a really hard time remembering my vinegar. So, I’ve got to get better at that.
Move Daily
I’ve done really well with this. Every morning, within ten minutes of eating breakfast, I do my morning exercise. I’ve fleshed out a quick routine of stretches and movements that have helped me become a bit more flexible. I was never immobile but after I injured my legs and being on bedrest I had noticed a change in my range of motion.
After I get home from work, I use my Infinity Hoop to get some cardio in. I’ve tried my best to get thirty minutes of intentional exercise in a day. It really has made a difference in my energy levels. I can really tell the difference on days that I don’t exercise.
Drink More Water
Hahaha, were not going to talk about this one. I am trying to do better though.
Track Spending
I’ve tracked my money leaving right out of my bank account. We’ve had several unexpected expenses the last few months. Thankfully, we had an emergency fund set up.
Journal/Devotional
I’ve done decent at this. After my morning workout I take about ten minutes to do my Bible study and journaling. It helps my morning start off right.
No Phone 30 Minutes After Waking
Lastly, I’ve done ok at this mostly because I’m rushing out the door to get the kiddo to daycare and then to work. I would like to wake up a little earlier going forward to have a more relaxing morning.
So that’s my refresh and reset check in. Thanks for sticking around and holding me accountable.

Looks like you are doing well with these activities! I’m trying to get back on my health journey too – I’m always off and on but I need to be back ON right now. 😅
