A Barnes and Noble Book Haul

It feels like I haven’t been in a bookstore in forever. Today we went to Rome, Georgia to get my oil changed and I just had to stop by Barnes and Noble. I meant to only buy one book, but that didn’t happen. So let’s get to my Barnes and Noble book haul.

The Haunted Bookstore

I found The Haunted Bookstore in the manga section of Barnes and Noble. The title jumped out at me and I had to have it. From what I could tell this one doesn’t have illustrations but it sounds like a ton of fun.

Deserter

I discovered Junji Ito last year and I’ve been wanting to read more of his work lately. Deserter caught my attention early on when I was exploring his work and it was next on my list after Tomie. I’m excited to finally get my hands on it.

Words of Radiance

I’m reading The Way of Kings right now and I’m really enjoying it. I decided to go ahead and pick up Words of Radiance while I was at the store today. I can’t believe how chunky it is, but I’ve been wanting a great epic fantasy. I hope this gives me that

So that wraps up my Barnes and Noble book haul. Have you bought anything new lately?

  1. I just need you to know that when I first opened the blog post it didn’t fully load so for a solid 30 seconds all I saw was “It feels like I haven’t been in a bookstore in forever. Today we went to Rome.”

  2. I recently bought The Shining, The Book of Cold Cases, Neon Gods, Lisey’s Story, and Eight Perfect Murders. My go-to spot has recently been Half Priced Books, but oh I do love Barnes and Noble!
