I’m normally not a short story reader, but I’m trying to expand my reading taste. When the author reached out about Old Wounds, I decided to give it a try. So let’s get into my review.
Old Wounds is a collection of 15 crime stories that twist and turn through every page. Each story involves intriguing characters and a variety of timelines. All coming together to make a crime anthology that you don’t want to miss.
Old Wounds kept me on the edge of my seat. I thoroughly enjoyed every story. All of the characters were unique and well-developed. I was also impressed at the variety of genres included. There were stories that explored historical fiction, horror, and even sci-fi. Each genre was executed really well. I think this collection of short stories would satisfy anyone.
