Now that we’re inching closer and closer to the holidays, I just wanted to bring bookshop.org back to the discussion. I’ve talked about them before, but I figured now was a perfect time to bring them back up. bookshop.org is an online bookstore that helps support a physical independent bookstore of your choice. It’s a great way to help support small businesses, but you still have the convenience of shopping at home.
Right now, I support E. Shaver, Booksellers because they’re one of my favorite independent bookstores. But you can change your store at any time. You really could switch every time you make a purchase. That way you can support all of your favorites.
I’m not a sponsor with bookshop.org. I just really support the work that they’re doing. Independent bookstores are a gem that I don’t want to lose. That’s why I decided to become an affiliate with them. If you shop from my storefront, I will get a small commission that will help support this blog. But even if you don’t shop from my storefront, I still highly recommend giving bookshop.org a try. Especially keep it in mind on Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. Independant bookstores are a crucial part of the bookish community, and we need to help support them.
