Thanksgiving is right around the corner. And I’ve been trying to find a fun new recipe to try. I have a lot of cookbooks, but there are a few that I keep going back to. So, let’s talk about a few of my favorite cookbooks.
Sweet Cravings

Sweet Cravings is the dessert bible. It has basic dessert recipes and daring recipes that I’ve never even heard of. My go to chocolate chip cookie recipe is from this cookbook. As well as a luxurious chocolate mousse recipe that I make when I want a light dessert. Seriously, this cookbook is for anyone with a sweet tooth.
Food From My Frontier

I’m a little obsessed with The Pioneer Woman. Her recipes are simple and delicious. There are everyday meal ideas as well as some party favorites. I’ve made the Twice Baked New Potatoes, Buttered Rosemary Rolls, and the Citrus Butter Cookies from this book and they were amazing. I also like how she gives a backstory and a glimpse of her life in this cookbook. It’s like cooking with a friend.
The New Frontier

I love this cookbook for the exact same reasons that I love the first Pioneer Woman Cookbook that I shared. The recipes are simple and delicious. There is a stuffed bell pepper recipe in here that is to die for. And I make the avocado crema almost every time I make tacos. You just can’t go wrong with her cookbooks.
The Complete Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer Cookbook

The title for this one is a mouth full. It’s pretty self-explanatory. It’s filled with tons of recipes that utilizes every technique that your stand mixer can accommodate. There are delicious dessert recipes, but there are some surprising savory recipes as well. I love my KitchenAid Stand Mixer and I’m glad this cookbook gives me a reason to use it more.
So those are a few of my favorite cookbooks. I also have several that my mother gave me that are really special, but those are one of a kind. But I just love the inspiration that cookbooks give. Do you have a favorite? And tell me your favorite holiday dish. Mine is hashbrown casserole.

I adore cookbooks, and it’s always fun to see the ones that other people use! I don’t have any of the ones on your list, but they look great.
I hope you like them if you try them. And I’m a sucker for cookbooks. I own way too many lol.
