Winter 2022/2023 Anticipated Book Releases

Happy winter solstice. Is it cold where you’re at? It’s very cold here in Alabama, and I think it’s supposed to be even colder on Thursday. It looks like we might actually get a winter this year. Which is fine with me because I’ll be inside reading. So, let’s talk about some of my winter 2022/2023 anticipated book releases.

The Villa

I really enjoyed The Wife Upstairs by Rachel Hawkins, and I still want to read Reckless Girls. But the synopsis of The Villa sounds like something that I could really love. It says it’s a slow burn thriller about a house that remembers it’s dark past. I’m a sucker for a book about a creepy house, so I’m going to give this one a try.

Hell Bent

I’ve looked to the sequel to Ninth House ever since I finished it. Hell Bent is finally here and I can’t wait to get my hands on it. But I really, really hate this cover. So, I’m hoping to find an edition with a better one. If anyone can point me in that direction, I’d appreciate it.

She is Haunting

2022/2023 anticipate book releases

I don’t know a lot about this book other than it’s a gothic thriller set in Vietnam. That was enough to draw me in. I think it’s a haunted house story as well, so I’m excited to give it a try. Plus, I haven’t ever really read anything set in Vietnam so I’m looking forward to that as well.

So those are a few of my winter 2022/2023 anticipated book releases. I don’t have a lot on the list, but I’m really excited to get to them.

  1. I know that Kansas City are forecast piles of snow and minus 20 degree temperatures tomorrow as my daughter’s fiancee had to change flights to make sure that she was able to get to the UK. That sounds impossibly cold to me!
