I don’t usually pre-order books. I have to be extremely excited about one to pre-order. Right now, I have three that I want to pre-order, and that’s unusual, so I thought I would share them. Mostly, I’m just excited to talk about them.
Iron Flame
I didn’t expect to love Fourth Wing as much as I did. But I loved it, and I can’t wait to get my hands on Iron Flame. I’m hoping there will be a bit more world-building in book two but I’m ready to dive back into this story.
House of Flame and Shadow
I’m finishing up House of Sky and Breath right now, so I haven’t read the synopsis for House of Flame and Shadow. But I’m having fun and I’m interested to see where this story goes. I contemplated dnfing this series but I’m glad I decided to give it a second chance.
The Familiar
The Familiar is a new series by Leigh Bardugo. I loved Ninth House and I think I’ll like Hell Bent (if I ever read it. Sigh). However, I didn’t love the Grishaverse series. But The Familiar sounds really interesting. So, I’m interested to see how this one shakes out.

Iron Flame is definitely top of my Autumn reading list too and the Leigh Bardugo sounds interesting as it’s a period of history that I love.

I’ve been pre-ordering too recently ( which I rarely do 😂) I’ve preordered scrlet alchemist bc the author was doing a preorder campaign! i do want to try & order in advance more often this season bc there’s so many good books out soon 😍
