The Unread Book Tag

My life, book room, and tbr are currently in a chaotic state and I want to get it back under control. When I saw The Unread Book Tag over at Once Upon An Ordinary, I knew it would help me take an inventory of my physical tbr and I really need that right now. So, let’s dive in.

Check out her post: Once Upon An Ordinary

How many books are on your owned TBR?

29. I actually expected this to be much worse. After a closer glance at my shelf, I realized I had several read books on my tbr shelf.

What is the most common genre of your unread books?

Fantasy for sure. It’s my favorite genre so I tend to hoard them.

Do you have any unread non-fiction?

I only have one non-fiction, The Mothman Prophecies, on my tbr. I’ve read several chapters of it, and I just put it down for some reason. I need to finish it.

What unread book have you been avoiding the longest?

Winter of the World has been on my shelf the longest. It’s a chunky book that intimidates me a bit, but I’m needing a genre change, so I may grab it soon.

What’s the most recent book you’ve bought but haven’t read?

I bought The Hunger of the Gods right after finishing The Shadows of the Gods.

Which unread book do you think you’ll read first?

The Hunger of the Gods will probably be my next read because I want to binge read this series. But, honestly, Winter of the World keeps catching my attention so who knows.

Which unread book comes the most recommended?

Once and Future Witches is probably the most recommend book on my tbr. It was highly rated when it was released, and I still see a ton of positive reviews for it.

So that’s The Unread Book Tag. If you want to play along, I tag you.

  1. Oh I like this tag. I think that fantasy would almost certainly be the most common genre among my unread books especially after yesterday’s visit to the library.
