Hi. I’m not sticking to my tbr at all. We went to Woodstock, Georgia and I made a pit stop at FoxTale Book Shoppe. I grabbed a lot of books that I’m super excited to pick up.
Gothictown
I grabbed Gothictown as soon as I read “In an immersive Southern Gothic.” I love a spooky book, and I especially love Southern spooky books. It’s set in north Georgia and it’s giving me the same vibes that The Magnolia League gave me all those years ago as a teenager, and I’m here for it.
The Listeners
The Listeners is one of my most anticipated books of the summer, so I was excited to finally snag a copy. I still don’t know what to expect from this one exactly, but it sounds like it might be a mix of fantasy and historical fiction. I really hope that’s the case.
Buffalo Hunter Hunter
I was hesitant to pick up Buffalo Hunter Hunter because I haven’t love Stephen Graham Jones in the past. But I swear this book just keeps catching my attention. It sounds like it could be a perfect read for me.
Little Miss Brave
I picked up Little Miss Brave for Little Miss E. If her love of fireworks and loud things is any indication, she will not need any help in the brave department. But this looked too cute to pass up.
A Christmas Carol Gingerbread Tea
I found this gingerbread tea on their clearance and I’m a sucker for gingerbread flavored anything. So, let’s celebrate Christmas in July.
Book Tabs
Lastly, I picked up these adorable book tabs. I usually use book tabs to mark my reading goal for the day. Right now, I’ve been scrounging up used tabs that are barely even sticky anymore. So, it’s time for more.

This looks like a great haul. I’m definitely going to look Gothictown up as well as The Magnolia League. Anything with gothic vibes has a tendency to call to me. I’m very curious about The Listeners too and have seen a lot of good things about The Buffalo Hunter Hunter and really hope you enjoy it. I hope you like the tea too 🥰
