As I type this, I have a few books on my tbr shelf that keep catching my attention. Want to know why? Because they are dusty. They have been on my shelf long enough to collect actual dust. And I was super excited about all of them when I bought them. So why didn’t I pick them up? And honestly, I don’t know. But today I’m making a pact to finish these this year. So here are the books that I want to finish before 2026. This list won’t be including my anticipated releases. These are books that have been hanging in limbo way too long. Let’s get to it.
Edge of Eternity
To be fair Edge of Eternity is the end of The Century Trilogy and I’m just now reading book two. But this series has been on my tbr shelf for YEARS. I don’t really know why I keep putting it off because I love them. I want to make it my top priority to finish this series before 2026.
The Once and Future Witches
The Once and Future Witches has been on my tbr shelf twice. I bought it once, decided I wouldn’t read it, sold it on Pangobooks, regretted it and bought it again. I really have to read it this time guys. I’m embarrassed for admitting that, hahaha.
The Grace of Kings
The Grace of Kings hasn’t been on my tbr shelf for very long. I think I bought it in January. But I intended to read it before I bought anymore books. And, well, you can see how that went.
The Hunger of the Gods
Lastly, I want to read The Hunger of the Gods. I want to be a series finisher. There is no point in starting a series and enjoying it if you never finish it. I need to read this one before I forget what happened in book one.
