Anything But Books Tag

We’ve got a few new faces these days, so I thought this tag would be a fun way to reintroduce myself. Plus, I’m just nosey. I love reading things like this and I know I’m not the only one. Let’s get into the Anything but Books tag.

Name a cartoon(s) that you love.

If you know my reading taste, I’m sure this is not a shock. Scooby-Doo is one of the reasons I am the way I am, hahaha.

What is your favorite song right now?

Jersey Giant by Tyler Childers just scratches my brain.

What could you do for hours (that isn’t reading)?

Color. I love to color. I love this specific coloring book because it’s not super time consuming and is actually really relaxing. I’m excited to get the Halloween edition.

What is something you love to do that your followers would be surprised by?

This probably isn’t shocking. I love to garden and preserve food. It’s a thing my family has done for years, and I love learning it from my mom and grandmother.

What is your favorite unnecessarily specific thing to learn about (this can do with books, I guess)?

Ghost towns and abandoned places. Mysteries of the Abandoned is one of my favorite guilty pleasure shows.

What is something unusual you know how to do?

I can sometimes predict rain with my joints. I don’t think that’s super unusual though. I think that’s the result of having broken bones.

Name something you’ve made in the last year (and show us, if you can).

The newest thing I’ve made was confit tomatoes. They taste like summer in a jar.

What is your most recent personal project?

I’m working on a writing project. I’ll hopefully share a little more about it later.

Tell us something you think about often (maybe while staring out of windows).

I want to come up with a fun answer. I really do. But mostly, I have a never-ending grocery list running through my brain. I’ve yet to cope with the fact that I have to decide what’s for supper every night for the rest of my life.

Give us something that’s your favorite, but make it something oddly specific, not like your favorite food, but like your favorite food when you’ve been studying for hours and forgot to eat. Or, you know, something like that.

Halloween Coach bag. It will forever be my favorite.
