Last year, we remolded a room in our house to be a bookroom and office area. I was so excited to decorate it for Christmas, but it took a little longer than we expected so I didn’t get to. But this year I decided to go all out. There are a few things that I still want to add, but for the most part I’m all set for Christmas.
Reading Nook

Is this room a little too small for a 7.5ft Christmas tree? Yes, probably. Can I touch the tree from my chair? Yes, I can. But does it make me happy? Yes, absolutely. This is the tree that we used to use in my living room, but one of the branches broke on the back. So since I bought a new one for the living room, I decided this one would work. I just turned the broke limb toward the wall, and no one will ever know. Except y’all because I told you. But it feels so festive to read by the Christmas tree. I might never take it down.
Bookshelves

The bookshelves are nice, but they’re not finished. I want to get some lights for the garland to add a little more light to the room. Once I add the lights I think it will be perfect.
Tbr Shelf/Coffee Bar

I also need some lights on the garland on my tbr shelf and coffee bar. Also, I just realized that the picture frame that has been there since March still only has a stock photo in it. This is real life, folks. So I need to put that on my to do list.
I’m so excited to finally have my bookroom decorated for Christmas. I can’t wait to curl up with a book from my December tbr and a cup of hot chocolate.
SO PRETTY!! I love this!!
