FoxTale Book Shoppe Haul

Woodstock, Georgia is about an hour and a half away from my house and I had no idea it existed until recently. But it is such a fun place to visit. Their downtown area has just about anything you could ask for, including an independent bookstore.

FoxTale Book Shoppe was absolutely adorable. I felt at home from the minute I walked in. Everyone in the store was super friendly as well. We stayed and talked to them quite a while. When you go into this store, you’re surrounded by people who love books. It was one of the best feelings. Plus, they had a good selection, and I found several great books. Keep reading to check out what I found.

Rebecca

I finally got my hands on a copy of Rebecca. I’ve wanted to read it for a couple of years now, but it’s always sold out at the bookstore we normally visit. They had a really good classics section with a lot of cute editions as well.

Hour of the Witch

I hadn’t heard of this one, but it was on their staff picks shelf. As soon as I picked it up, I knew I need Hour of the Witch. The synopsis reminded me a little of Slewfoot, but I don’t think this one completely crosses over into the horror genre. I think it stays more on the historical fiction side of things. But I don’t know for sure.

Nick

This one caught my eye. And after talking to the lady at the bookstore I knew I needed to pick up Nick. The title pretty well explains it, but this story is about Nick. Nick was the narrator in Gatsby, but it didn’t focus on him. So, I’m interest to learn more about Nick before the events of The Great Gatsby. Plus, it’s motivating me to reread The Great Gatsby. I enjoyed it in school and want to revisit it as an adult. It’s been on my list of things to do for a while now.

The Antiquarian Sticker Book

This sticker book is gorgeous. I loved it from the minute I saw it, but I wouldn’t buy it. My husband knew I would regret it later, so he bought it instead. I’m so glad he did. These stickers are perfect for my reading journal. They’re absolutely gorgeous.

So that’s my haul. And if you’re in the Woodstock, Georgia area I would totally recommend checking out FoxTale Book Shoppe! And if you’re not in the area you can order on their website as well!
