Apps I Use as a Book Blogger

There are a lot of moving parts when it comes to blogging. So I use a variety of apps to create the blog that I want. Here are a few of the apps I use as a book blogger. I’m not going to mention the Kindle app or Apple Books because they’re pretty obvious, but just know that I use them a ton as well.

Darkroom

I’ve used several different photo editing apps, but Darkroom has been my favorite so far. I have it on my MacBook, iPad, and phone so I can access it wherever I’m at. It’s quick and easy to use but it still creates a professional image.

Procreate

I’m new to Procreate, but I’ve used it several times in the last month. If I have a photo that needs more editing that Darkroom provides, I move it over to Procreate. There’s still a lot to learn about it, but I’ve been pleased with it so far.

Canva

I use Canva to make graphics and borders. I used it to make my Halloween Classics bullet journal page. And I also use it to make Pinterest pins. Canva is incredibly useful.

PangoBooks

Lastly, I use PangoBooks to purchase a lot of the books that I read. I always try to purchase used if I have the chance. And most of the time you can find relatively new releases on there that Thriftbooks might not have yet. It’s basically an online book shop that allows you to purchase from other books lovers. I also sell on PangoBooks to support the cost of running a blog (@wildwoodreads is my username).

So those are a few of the apps that I use as a book blogger. Do you have any favorite apps?

  1. I LOVE Canva! Juxtaposer is another great one if you ever need to overlay photos! I use that one all the time to add color book covers to my kindle photos 🙂
