Happy first day of summer! Do you have any big summer plans? We’re hoping to go camping a few more times, and we’ve got a trip planned in July. But otherwise, we don’t have anything major planned. I’m hoping to get to spend some time reading in our yard.
So, let’s talk about some of the books that I’m excited for. Here are my 2023 summer anticipated releases. I actually don’t have that many right now but I’m really excited for the ones that I have.
The Only One Left

It’s not summer without a Riley Sager novel. And it fits perfectly with my reading mood right now. The Only One Left is supposed to be a gothic thriller with a Lizzie Borden type murder. That sounds like the perfect thriller to me.
Release Date: June 20, 2023
The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England

Technically The Frugal Wizard’s Handbook for Surviving Medieval England has already released, but I haven’t received my copy yet. So, it’s still one of my anticipated releases for this summer. I think it will be a quick, cute read to break up the string of scary stories that I’ve been reading.
Release Date: June 27, 2023
Looking Glass Sound

I read The Last House on Needless Street last year and I’m reading Little Eve right now. I’ve really enjoyed Catriona Ward’s writing style so I’m looking forward to picking up Looking Glass Sound.
Release Date: August 8, 2023
So those are my 2023 summer anticipated releases. What books are you excited about? Let me know in the comments.
I’m quite curious about Sanderson’s latest secret novel! I hope you enjoy when you get your hands on it! 😀
Thank you!
I’ve heard good things about The Wizard’s Handbook so hope that you enjoy it.
Thanks!
The Only One sounds really good, I love that genre and feel like it’ll be an interesting read.
