Let It Snow Book Tag

Supposedly, we’re supposed to have snow this week. But now it’s looking more like ice or even nothing at all. I had geared myself up for a beautiful winter snow, and now I’m a bit disappointed. But let’s do the Let It Snow Book Tag anyhow.

I found this tag over at Books With Bunny.

The Weather Outside is Frightful: A Book with a Snowy Setting

Spinning Silver has a great snowy setting. But as I mentioned in my last chat, I did dnf it. But the snowy setting was wonderful, and a lot of people love this one. So, if you’re interested, I would totally recommend giving it a try.

But the Fire is So Delightful: A Book that Warmed Your Heart

Mr. Dickens and His Carol really warmed my heart back in December. I absolutely loved it. It started off a tad somber but then it picked up and became this lovely Christmasy tale. It really mimicked the feeling of A Christmas Carol.

Since There’s No Place to Go: A Place You Wish You Could Visit

I want to visit Portland, Oregon (or the Pacific Northwest in general). It just looks like a gorgeous place to visit. Plus, Powells is in Portland and that’s definitely a place I would love to visit as well.

It Doesn’t Show Signs of Stopping: A Series You’re in the Middle Of

Right now, I’m still in the middle of the Cytoverse series. I need to wrap it up but I’m not ready for it to end.

Brought Some Corn for Popping: A Book You Devoured

I devoured The Haunting Scent of Poppies. It’s a novella so it’s on the short side anyway but once I started reading it, I couldn’t put it down. It was a haunting story in the fact that it’s a ghost story, but the topic is haunting as well.

The Lights Are Turned Way Down Low: A Book that Kept You Up All Night

It’s been a minute since I’ve read anything that kept me up all night. Your girl likes her sleep. But I did stay up quite late finishing up Warbreaker. I got to a part that just absolutely hooked me.

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow: A Winter Recommendation

I will forever recommend The Bear and the Nightingale. It’s set in a deep winter setting, and it’s based off of Russian folklore. It’s the perfect series for a deep winter’s night.

So that’s the Let It Snow Book Tag. I’m interested to see if we get any snow or not. It’s rare in my part of Alabama, but I really do love it. What about you. Do you love snow?

  1. We got mostly sleet with a good mix of snow here in Louisiana. I’m like you and love it. And I agree, The Bear and the Nightingale is so very good!
