It’s time to do my February check in. I call this series Reading to a Healthier Me because I listen to audiobooks (most of the time) while I try to move my body more and more each day. This post is the way I hold myself accountable and you guys are my accountability partners. So, let’s dive in.
My Goals
Eat Healthier. I was doing great at this until we went on vacation. I ate a lot of good food, but it wasn’t necessarily good for me. I have to get back into the swing of eating healthy again. I have done a decent job at working fruits and vegetables into meals that I normally wouldn’t have had them in. So, I’m proud of myself for that.
Exercise 30 minutes a day. I’m actually proud of how well I did with this goal. I doubled my move goal twelve times in January, and I’ve worked out almost every day. Vacation did throw me off a little bit, so I’m hoping to get back in the swing of things soon. But overall, I’ve been happy with my exercise routine.
Relax more. I’ve done a great job at this this month. We went on vacation and felt great during and after. Now I just hope I can stick with it because February is going to be a little busier.
What I’m Reading
I have read nothing while working out. I can’t find an audiobook that has stuck with me. If you have any recommendations, let me know.
That’s my February update. Hopefully, March will be even better.

Holidays are definitely death to healthy eating aren’t they? I usually get loads more exercise though as we generally walk loads. When we were in Boston, I averaged over 15,000 steps every day which is at least twice what I normally do.
They truly are! And that makes my legs ache just reading that, hahaha. We normally walk quite a bit, but the weather was quite rainy that weekend.
