Happy Valentine’s Day! Do you have any big plans for tonight? We’re just going to stay at home because frankly we’re tired. We’re new parents and home is our favorite place right now. But I still wanted to celebrate just a little so let’s do The Valentine’s Book Tag.

Matterhorn is one of the best historical fictions that I’ve ever read, and I never see anyone talk about it. Maybe I missed the hype since it’s an older book, but it is so, so good!

I love Prince Raoden and Princess Serene in Elantris. They’re a power couple that will get things done. Plus, I love the way their romance developed but I won’t spoil that.

Book That Other People Love But You Haven’t Read Yet

The first thing that comes to my mind is obviously Onyx Storm. Have you seen the hype around it? I haven’t read it, and I’m not sure if I will, but I’m feeling a little fomo about it.

The Most Dangerous Animal of All. I’m not sure why this is the first thing that came to mind. I’m sure I could have found a romance. But nothing say’s Valentine’s Day like a true crime story, I guess.

The Duke and I. Lookie there, I found a romance. It’s not one I particularly enjoyed, but it’s a book with pink on the cover, nonetheless.

I don’t really have a book boyfriend, but if I had to choose, I would choose Kaladin. If you’ve been here any amount of time that won’t surprise you lol.

I would read my current book Kings of the Wyld. I would watch Grey’s Anatomy and Wicked or The Phantom of the Opera.

You are in the Book Store. All of a Sudden you get shot with an arrow by Cupid. What New Release will you love?

I think (and hope) to love Katabasis by R.F. Kuang. I really enjoyed Babel, and this seems to be in the same vein as it.
