I mentioned the She Reads Truth Bible in my last book haul and I’ve had a lot of requests for a review of it. Since, I’m definitely not qualified to review the Bible, let’s do an unboxing instead, hahaha
Intro Pages

I’m guilty of ignoring the intro pages most of the time, but I decided to read them for this post. Honestly, these have a lot of great information, so please read the intro pages, lol.

Book Intros

Each book has an intro page that tells the context, history, and background. It also has a digging deeper page that gives other Bible verses to enhance the reading of certain chapters.
Devotions

There are devotions throughout each book. I’ve really enjoyed the ones I’ve read so far.
Key Verses

In the back, there are key verses that summarize the most important things in each book. It’s like having a highlight reel.
Maps

There are several maps included in the back as well.
Genre Guide

This is one of my favorite additions to this Bible. It’s a genre guide that explains the types of books in the Bible and their purpose. Each book is colored to match it’s genre.
The Apostles’ Creed/The Bible in a Year

I like they’ve included a Bible in a Year plan. I’ve already started a plan for this year, but I think I will give this one a try next year.
Table of Weights & Measures

Lastly, we have a table of weights and measures. This is a thing that I didn’t know I needed, but since I know it’s there, I’ve looked at it several times. Again, it just helps to give context and clarity to what you’re reading.
So, that’s the She Reads Truth Bible unboxing. I’m really happy with it so far. I think it’s going to be a great lightweight Bible to take back and forth to church. I also love the fact that it’s indexed. That helps a ton.
