Spring Book Recommendations

While Fall is my favorite season, I really love this time of year too. There’s just something so refreshing about all of the extra sunshine and flowers. So, let’s talk about some of my Spring book recommendations.

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries

Emily Wilde’s Encyclopedia of Faeries would be perfect for the spring. I mean what says spring like running around the countryside doing research on the fae? The atmosphere of this story whimsical but it still has a sharp bite to it that is reminiscent of the winter chill on an early spring day. It’s lighthearted but it has enough conflict to keep it interesting.

Warbreaker

Warbreaker is a standalone novel set in Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere. It’s set in a tropical city with an abundance of color and fruit. It just felt springy. But also, it’s Brandon Sanderson so it was filled with twists and turns and political machinations. It would be a perfect fantasy to start this spring.

Weyward

Weyward is a perfect combination of cottagecore, thriller, and historical fiction. It follows three different women whose lives are intertwined despite being separated by decades. It’s a wonderful uplifting story that showcases women’s resilience even in the worst of circumstances.

The Tea Dragon Society

Lastly, we have The Tea Dragon Society. It’s a sugary sweet graphic novel set in a world where tea dragons exist. Each tea dragon has the characteristics of the tea they’re named after. This story is a perfect light spring read and the floral artwork is amazing too.

So those are my Spring book recommendations. Now I need some recommendations. Tell me some of your favorite Spring books in the comments.
